One choice example of the way our worldwide population looks at one-another, from continent to continent… with so little understanding of the standards by which a culture lives, or any fundamental knowledge of the culture’s religions… they judge swiftly & insensitively. We gaze with naive perspectives, without opening our minds to something perhaps appearing differently from two different points of view. Even then, how our own experiences appeal to others is a hit-and-miss expression. Few others, even those far beyond David Hojak’s age, have seen the trials in life that he has…… as early, no less. Either way, we all have an opinion on society to offer, and every other bastard son has a mental illness to soothe them after bedtime.
How you perceive your experiences in hindsight goes on to shape a quantity of things about you moving forth progressively. For example, your emotional reactions, though “abrupt” or “unreasonable,” can either be bridled or volatile. Whether in the heat of the moment, or even reflectively, how you perceive experiences means so much. David Hojak has seen the experiences of some who endured crisis-riddled atmospheres that inspired them to become great. I’ve also seen less than those same situations test, psychologically break-down, and push some to their end. The strongest endure and overcome. The weakest among admit defeat, and hide from consequence, and shield themselves from evolution of thought-process.

I’ve been tested psychologically & emotionally since youth, and I’ve learned enough to see atrocity coming… in most cases. A majority of those you encounter won’t be honest or truthful, nor sincere or committed in their endearments… and they sure as hell would never risk being candid in their assessments. Blunt-force truth becomes more of a rarity as the years pass, and can be even more traumatic to those trying to evade it.
We Have a Greed With Which We Have Agreed
These sadness “assessments” & “diagnoses” often come from sympathetic doctors eager to write another complaining patient a prescription/sick note. Lo & behold, a generation later, kids are burying themselves before they are old enough to legally buy cigarettes. Instead of having video games to influence their creativity, they had a pill bottle to influence their sadness… and man, do those pills do the trick (in every wrong way possible). A real problem is the profound lack of attention paid to the emotional neglect of working & supportive individuals… if even self-supportive ones. With every passing generation, humankind is expected to “keep up” with technology…… even though, so early on, it’s already outpacing us unexpectedly. One “Artificial Intelligence” is predicting that humankind is doomed to end itself by 2060. At this pace, me and my REAL intelligence believe it’ll happen in half as long, at best.
Expect nothing from those who surround you. At best, expect their uninformed feedback on what they don’t comprehend. Your initiatives are your own, until successfully put forth & executed. The path to executing your plans, based on your own motivations, is a thing you must own and execute. No Excuses, no delays, no offsets, no technicalities, no burdens, no dependencies… you out there, presenting to & showing for the world. Make it happen. Forget past excuses that formulated reasons for your own lack of success in former efforts. The day after the prior one is always new. Give it twenty-four hours, and the reset button hits itself in so many ways… if you allow it. Professionally, you don’t have time for emotional attachments or decisions that don’t make business sense for you. If allies can’t respect you prioritization of your own well-being, they don’t deserve to see it. Make these assessments effectively and thoroughly. Evaluate it all.

Consider this…… when you pass, how will you want those who remember you to do so? Do you have goals? Do you want to be looked at as a success, or a failure? Will they remember that you were happy & satisfied in life, or recall how lonely & unaccomplished you were? Will they remember you going out & being a part of past, good times with friends? Or will they recall you locking yourself in a bedroom to play video games, not even having a job? Do you want yours to be a story of satisfaction through hard work or love? Maybe you were gifted wealth? Either way, do you want to be remembered as a positive part of the lives you touched? Will the ones who had the chance to be closest to you feel more “special” than others, because of it? Will the concept of your influence rise to be one that people want to take in & “subscribe to”??? Maybe even learn from?!?!
While here, achieve as much as you can, despite the “hardship.” No adversity in life is strong enough to pin you down or hold you back. Whether philosophical or physical, you can achieve anything you reasonably put your mind to, then focus on. No individual, mortal presence will ever deter you from your destiny. Although along the way, they may serve as momentary a detraction from the path. Realigning with the your intended path, whenever deterred, becomes easier over time with each instance.
When You Think More Than You Want, Your Thoughts Begin to Bleed
The most important thing to remember is that ultimately, your happiness alone is all that you can truly control. While you’re actually a part of this life, be grateful for all that’s within your reach… all you can influence, all those you love, all those you cherish and all the ones you call “friends.” Losing even one, whether obviously, tediously, simply, technically, backhandedly or straightforwardly, flat-out sucks.
“Society, have mercy on me… I hope you’re not angry if I disagree.”
